Elephant Bar Goleta, CA

Hey there! I hope everyone had a relaxing Easter weekend with family and friends. I want to tell you about a restaurant outside of IV hopefully many of you know about… Elephant Bar! It is located on Hollister by the Santa Barbara Airport. It is a cool and CHEAP place to get lunch or dinner if you are looking for a change. After all, it is the end of the school year and there are only so many subway sandwiches and pizza slices we can intake… You will not leave this place without complete satisfaction (especially if you order the New York Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert like me). The menu has a wide variety of items from Mexican, Italian, and Chinese to American dishes. The orders at my table included a full stack of BBQ ribs with French fries, French Dip Sandwich with French Fries, Turkey and Ham Sandwich with a garden salad and tomato bisque soup, and a Chinese Chicken Citrus Salad.

I recommend sitting in the bar/lounge area to dine because you get all the Happy Hour specials, a view of 3 TV’s for sports, and comfy booth seats as well… It definitely makes the evening more casual and fun! It is a 2 minute drive out of IV and worth starting your car or riding your bike on over! I included the Happy Hour food and drink specials below so you can see for yourselves, and I also took some pictures from dinner.

$3: Three Cheese Macaroni, Sweet Potato Fries, Tomato Bruschetta, or Rustica Garlic Bread with Marinara Sauce.
$4: Vietnamese Shrimp Spring Rolls, Artichoke Dip, Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders, Baja Cheese Quesadilla, or Mozzarella with Bruschetta Tomatoes.
$5: Hand Breaded Fried Shrimp, Tempura Salmon Roll, Quick-Fried Soy-Ginger Calamari, Wok-Fired Chicken & Lettuce Wrap, or Classic Big “E” Burger and French Fries.
$6: Seared Ahi Tuna with Ponzu or Coconut Shrimp Skewers.
Drinks
$3: House Margarita, Well Drinks or Domestic Beer regular size.
$4: Classic Mojito, Cruzan Estate Rum, Olu Passion Mai Tai, Long Island Iced Tea or Sangria
$5: Skyy Vodka Raspberry Lemon Drop, Craft tall size Draft Beer or Ivory Coast Margarita with Jose Cuervo Tequila.
