My all time favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara… It is located near the UCSB campus off the 217 freeway on Goleta beach. Open your taste buds to an array of flavorful food from Rosemary Chicken to Pork Loin to all kinds of seafood dishes. I usually save my appetite for this restaurant when my parents are here to visit because they deserve a great meal too right? And uhh… to pick up the tab! Wonderful news, I just discovered that Beachside is becoming a little college friendly in their pricing. All seven days of the week from 5-6pm, there is a “Sun Down Specials” section on the menu. Most of the favorite bites are on the menu (mostly excluding elaborate seafood dishes) and for almost half of the price! My favorite dish to order is the Rosemary Chicken that comes with garlic mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables and a possible addition of a side salad for $1.50 (Total is $13.95 from original $20ish).
When my whole family goes there, three out of the four of us order the Rosemary Chicken dish. My dad always experiments with the seafood dishes and loves them. It’s so fun when the parents go to dinner because they always order appetizers and wine and so on… It’s the best huh?! If you have not been here yet, this would be the #1 place I recommend and love.
