Pasta House Isla Vista, CA

Where did I choose my meal to blog about tonight? PASTA HOUSE

It’s the weekend, but before getting too excited… It is the weekend before finals and for once, I am deciding NOT to go out (I am actually being responsible this quarter and making my parents happy). So, back to my night, I am currently watching the GAUCHOS kick butt playing Long Beach State and about to make the NCAA tourney for the second year in a row. Congrats to the men’s basketball team… time to dance! However, before all this March madness, I ordered takeout on SBMENUS.com for Pasta House. I picked up the food a little before half time so my boyfriend would be willing to peel his eyes away from the game to eat with me. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, chicken alfredo pasta, and a caesar salad. This sounds like a lot of food and it was!!!… (I was just taking advantage of the final food frenzy specials J). It fed not only me and my bf but his other housemates as well, AND we still have leftovers! Adding some vino and shock top to our meal took the edge of studying right off... Staying in on a Saturday night does not seem painful now, more relaxing actually. So recap: mellow night, carb cravings, and a well needed meal to soothe the agony of finals fast approaching; I’d say Pasta House is the perfect recipe! I do have a tip about ordering, it is definitely a good idea to ORDER ONLINE and pick up your food or use the delivery option. You will skip the process of waiting for your pizza to make it through the oven. Either way you choose, the food is worth the wait! Moving on to the large dinner I ordered, I cannot decide what I liked the best. The pizza is surely a winner and comes with lots of pepperoni (for $4.99 I was STOKED). I could go on all day about the pasta. This dish has the most generous portion size of all and with cheese baked on top. It looks heavenly and makes the best leftovers (for a night, or two, or three…yes it really is that much food). Lastly, the salad was pretty ordinary but the caesar dressing was to die for, not thick and creamy, but more on the lighter side. What else? Hmm… A really cool thing about Pasta House is they have college friendly daily deals all the time (exclusive @ SBMENUS of course)! Definitely keep your eye out for those through the website and I will make sure to post reminders on Facebook. I don’t think you will want to miss out knowing that my meal tonight feeding 4 people plus leftovers was only $18 and included 3 different orders! I still can’t believe it!! One last note, make sure to get over to Pasta House before heading home for break. It would truly be the perfect lunch or dinner that could re-energize your spirit to study! (Or have a celebratory meal after finishing finals). The Italian that I am, I am always up for some good pizza and pasta. I approve of this place and say give it a go to nwbs & to returning customers, get the bang for your buck and pay attention to the daily specials! My vino is empty… See ya next time!
